Metal2SHPn Configuration

Metal is a 2.4GHZ routerboard completely waterproof, rugged, and super high powered RouterBOARD Metal for outdoor. Its output power is 1.6Watts (32dbm) to reach the last mile.Mikrotik Metal 2shpn has an N-male Connector so you can attach an omni antenna directly to it or with an extension cable.Package contains Metal-2SHPn, mounting loops, PoE injector, power adapter and 6dBi omni antenna. 

Mikrotik metal has AR7241 400MHZ processor 64MB of RAM. Mikrotik installed on it with License level4.1 Lan port and has a voltage and PCB Temperature Monitor. 

Mikrotik Metal 2shpn Configuration

I configuration Metal 2shpn as a AP with D-Link Omni Antenna. We configure Metal 2shpn through winbox.
Access Mikrotik metal 2shpn through winbox and select Quick Set option at top left corner.

In this setting i show you how to configure Metal 2shpn as a AP.

1. Select AP
2. Wireless Protocol 802.11
3. Mode Bridge
4. Select your network name in SSID
5. Select channel
6. Select Band
7. Channel Width
8. Country Pakistan

 Mikrotik Metal 2shpn Wireless Setting.

 Select Advanced Mode

Now your Mikrotik Metal 2shpn Configured.

Mikrotik Payment Reminder By Advertisement Method

Q.How to add a payment reminder in mikrotik

1. Adding a Payment Reminder Profile in Hotspot.
2. Profile Name Reminder

 3. Add a Payment Reminder Page

4. Delet the file "radvert.html"

5. Download Reminder Page And Paste it on Hotspot Folder.

6.Finally copy hotspot folder and paste to winbox (don't forget to delete old files of hotspot in winbox file menu)

7.Testing your Payment Reminder Server

• Open winbox and go to ip > hotspot > users > add new User.
• At selecting a profile for user select "Reminder".
• Test your created user at client pc you will get a reminder page after every 10sec.

8.You just have to change user profile of those clients thats you want to remind them about Dues. (select any user's profile to "Reminder")

Note: After Collecting your Dues Don't forget to changes user's Profile to old one.
